Cindy Walsh’s interest in sewing began when she was quite young and her artist mother would take her to local textile mill outlet stores to find remnants. She enjoyed making clothing, and experimented with weaving or printing on natural fibers in college.
After earning a degree in textile design at the Rhode Island School of Design, Cindy started her studio in 1993 and began selling designer clothing at craft fairs.
Her distinctive Polartec ® jackets and accessories are made in a historic house that she and her husband renovated in Massachusetts. The colors, texture and details are what makes the clothing arty, unusual and fun to wear. On a practical note, it is wrinkle-proof and washable!
