Wooden Images was founded in 1980 by John Bakula. A year later he was joined by his brother Mark, added one employee, and has kept busy ever since creating beautiful laminated cutting boards.
"Just three guys and some power tools," as they like to say. "Each piece we create has its own distinctive look. By combining a wide variety of woods and carefully finishing them each piece becomes a one of a kind work of art".
The woods used are Jatoba from Brazil, Purpleheart from South America, African Padauk, and American Walnut, Maple, Oak, and Cherry. The natural colored wood boards come in a few different sizes, and are completely food safe.
